    so guys! finally my AW it's here!

    It is huge, heavy and... beautifull!!!!

    It comes with A08 bios and 8.763 Dell driver, how can i tell if the Vbios is updated also?

    Out of the box run of 3dmark Vantage gave me >P13500 it is ok?

    oh God! i'm so exited!!!!

    A09 is the latest bios, but you probably already knew that.
    the ATI drivers are better then dell's according to Vantage by about 300 points (on my rig anyway).

    Actually his system already has the correct vbios. No need for bios A09 unless he is running an extreme CPU. Congrats on the purchase.

    Vantage scores seem in the ball-park to me....ive got similar spec and my vantage with AMD 10.11 is 14k.......CCC will tell you the vbios you have under graphics hardware tab. You should see the follwing for the latest vbios (in red) oh, and my drivers are AMD 10.11 not Dell 8.763 fwiw. May as well check BOTH cards while your at it....you should see something like this:

    Yes both card are under A01 bios out from factory. That's something that i like actually.

    The AW has no issues so far (refering to all issues related to drivers/vbios etc...)

    Can stay on battery, can go on stand by etc... no problem at all

    So my first run of 3Dmark 2006 is 15994 3dmark. Looks good to me.

    is it ok? everything stock and 10.11 with caps2

    Sounds bang on to me....more or less...06 varies from run to run and i notice it can be by a few hundred points either way sometimes.

    My best run of this was 16500 and average run is around 16250....maybe i get a 'lil bit more due to 2gb extra ram.....
