i7-920XM : O ATI HD 5870 1GB(single card) 4GB ram 1333 250GB, 1200p screen, 9 Cell battery... should i go for it?

There's a similar priced machine available right now with 920xm/4870cf/rgb/bluray. I'd go for that instead.

 

also a 720. 5870cf... blueray etc for a similar price.. ahh what should i go for~~...

even though the screen is only 900p? and two hard drive at 5400 but raid 0.. have you had experience with the outlet? think i should go for it?

 

If it's between getting the rgbled and not, you should definately get the better screen even if it's with the 4870's because they aren't that much slower and the screen is possibly the biggest selling point of this machine. It's beautiful

In other words get the good screen at all costs, 5870's if you can but the 4870's arent that much worse, processor is third concern (unless you specifically need processing power), everything else is debatable.

 

yeah man i am looking at laptop and the nicer cheaper ones have 900p screen that is a deal killer but comes with dual 5870. Even then i would wait it out or look for a RGB well worth the wait. My original system was $1939 before the 20% and see my specs
