    M17x2 Gpu Fan Speed

    Was playing a few games, gpu temps got around 88-95c in about 20m inutes of gaming.. the fans have NEVER gone above 30% speeds. Any reason for this? the vents on the back of my laptop will almost burn skin to the touch. >.>

    I have the exact same problem a few weeks ago as well, but a quick vacuum to the vents fixed it for me. Too much dust = GPUs start to overheat.

    Which programme are you using to check your fan speeds? GPU-Z won't be showing accurate ones just so you know, since the fans are wired to the motherboard and not to the GPUs iirc (I think that's what the last poster said on my 3 week old thread). Download and run hwinfo32 if you haven't yet and check your fan speeds from there.
