    Hey guys

I tried searching, but after a half hour I am not finding the best info. After running the vbios fix from dell are we now compatible with the ATI mobility drivers with the 5870 CF? I see posts where people are reviewing / rating 11.2 and 11.3, but it seems that this kind of talk has dropped off as ATI has updated.

So, am I stuck with Dell's Sept 2010 implementation or are we free to use the ATI drivers as they come out without modding?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I was hoping to find an up-to-date "R2 state of affairs" sticky. Thanks

    Hey there buddy,

After updating to dells newest Vbios for the 5870 GPUs you are free to install and try any of Dell's or AMD ATi drivers direct from their website.

Currently the latest drivers are the 11.5 mobility ones.

Along with these drivers you will want to update and install the latest CAP application profiles as well.

    Cheers. :)
