Ok everything has been running nice except I recently noticed my graphics card isn't running the way it should be.

I set up my own power profile to ensure everything is running 100% I disabled ATI Powerplay in the CCC.

However even when under graphics load the clocks refused to go up to 700/1000 like it should be doing, it is staying on 350/100. So its leading to stupidly low fps in everything. My CPU is running as it should be I got the i7 620m it stays at 3.33ghz in windows drops to 3.06ghz when utilizing 2 cores, when utlilizing 2 cores + HT it drops to 2.66ghz.

Now I downloaded AMD GPU Tool and was easily able to manually up the clocks to 700/1000 idle is 60-65 degrees but omg the fans crank up like crazy with load its jumping to high 80s low 90s in temp, is that normal? hell is my laptop acting normally at all since I have to up the clocks manually just to run stock speeds.

I think you need to enable powerplay

ok i tried a few things but one thing fixed it. Stealth mode was off, turning ATI powerplay off made the clocks get stuck at 300/500.

Turning it on during furmark saw an instant clock up to 700/1000 like it should have been doing. However I need to check again to see if programs that were utilizing the card and was stuttering due to the low fps with the clocks on low actually all bring it up to 700/1000.
