I've been running my system without rebooting for a couple of weeks now.
This is after I installed the Intel X25-M 160GB SSD, and did followed stamatisx's instructions, how to modify the registry for better performance.
Also updated the BIOS to A09.
Today I had to use the computer "out and about". So I popped in the battery.
Immediately it started to BSOD. When I tried to reboot the machine did a few GSOD too. Gray screen, and the power light just dimmed in/out.
Popped out the battery, and connected the power cord. Then I got in, for a few minutes, before it did a BSOD, and another GSOD when rebooting.
When I check the Event Viewer, I see this:
Now I'm in safe modus, cause I can't boot in normal mode![]()
When I googled/searched the forums, I found this thread:
CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT Help!!!
But that didn't really help much. As far as I can understand, it has something to do with the cores, but I can't really figure out what to do next.
Any of you gurus have any suggestions?

Did u update the vbios on your cards (assuming you have the 5870s)?

99% all your problems will be gone once you upgrade

you should have the dell verified drivers installled or the software (setup.exe) will not run
when it runs it will create a bootable CD to upgrade VBIOS (which you must boot on it) -
the reason it doesn't work in safe mode is because safe mode doesn't load the video card drivers.
If you can't boot into windows normally with any kind of drivers (not necessarily Dell's, it worked for me with modded 10.11 drivers as well) it's a problem.
What i can do for you is to upload an image of the CD the program creates so you can just burn it and then boot from it to flush the cards.
Let me know if you need it. -
All my usb sticks were "too large" the installer said (welcome to 2010 Dell).
So I went rummaging down in the bottom of the drawers, and I found this!
256 .. *drumroll* MB! Who would have thunk it, hehe
So I rebooted and updated the VBIOS as mfractal suggested, and so far so good.
I'll try rebooting and doing some handstands, to see if I it's all good tho.
Thanks a million guys
