    Hi guys,

When I tried to updated my BIOS to A10 the process froze after writing block 69/70. I waited an hour until I finally pulled the plugg (well aware of what possibly was coming).
    And yes, it was bricked.

When I turn it on now all lights light up, but non of the NUM, SCROLL and CAPS leds come on, they are all black.
Fans go on, but the screen is black, VGA and HDMI outputs black as well.

I've read about and attempted (100 times) to blind flash the bios.

Extracted the WINCRIS from the custom A10 bios, created the UBS memory with three files (one of them BIOS.WPH).
Inserted in into eSATA (and all USB for that matter), power drained, heald down FN+B and powered up.
USB Memory flashed a few times and then nothing, I've waited up to 30min but still nothing.

I've now removed one GPU but still no change.

Do you guys have any ideas or is it ready to the dumpster?

You did drain all of the power from the laptop and it did not help? Following the steps here.

I've also heard of people swapping CPU's which temporarily fixes a bricked BIOS.

Buy a new bios chip on ebay, swap them with soldering iron or give it to a guy who can and it will be back.

worse case scenario is you sale it for parts. Do not throw it in the dumpster lol. Me for instance am probably gonna buy an outer shell by itself unless i find a laptop sold for parts later to do a project. it would be worth trying to solder a new bios chip on or buying a new motherboard though.

New motherboard or new bios chip.

    Good luck.
