    Hey Guys,

im sure its something obvious but my SSD used to score 7.3 in WEI, now its 5.9

    Things i have checked
AHCI is set to 0 in the registry
AHCI is set in the Bios
firmware 1.4 on the OCZ drive
Latest Intel Matrix storage drivers (off the m17x wiki)
Latest Intel Chipset drivers (off the m17x wiki)
Both options checked on the properties of the drive (in device manager)

One thing to note is that i simply moved the SSD from my old Asus G50VT into the m17x and updated a few of the drivers. everything seems fine other than WEI and i have yet to run some benchies on the drive. ran out of time

    cheers for any help

For starters they are now up to 1.6, so i would update the firmware on your drive if your concerned. I wouldn't get terribly worried over WEI though, its hardly a meaningful benchmark.

My 80GB Intel X25 did the same thing at first. Run whatever HD benchmarking software you use and ensure you're getting good numbers there.
