    Hey guys,

My M17xR2 is supposedly arriving today, and I'm thinking about doing a fresh install. Are there any tips or quirks with reinstalling M17xR2 drivers etc?

I am unsure about what drivers to install with regards to the GPU, it has 2x 5870. Do I just grab them off the Dell site or can I install drivers downloaded from ATi?

It's also coming with 2 HDD in Raid 0 but I was always intending to set them up as one O/S drive and one storage drive. How exactly do I change this in BIOS :?

Thanks, any other tips / hints are welcome :).

yes there are, do your home work drivers should be installed in a certain order. Back up everything, I would put it on a USB or CD the back up on the HD will be over written and you will lose it and the extras wallpaper ect. I would play with it out of the box, there is no blot on the OS only what you need. So unless your into tweaking everything I would try it stock, Just my thought.

Okay thanks, well I reinstalled everything anyway lol, prefer to start fresh.

Just a note to anyone out there wanting to do the same, you have to enter the raid config by pressing control + i I think, and then disable raid, then go ahead and install your OS.
