so i decided to update my bios to the latest A10 on my M17xr2 and it succeeded but when it restarted the computer would not post and just saw a black screen. i decided to attach a monitor via hdmi and noticed it does boot up but it freezes at the alien head bios post screen and does not respond to any inputs. all buttons are unresponsive at this point even the power button and only pulling the power plug will shut it down.

i've tried removing all hard drives, ram, but same symptoms. it does have 5870m in xfire. but seeing as how it post via hdmi could it still be the gpus?

is there anyways to get this thing back up and running? any help is appreciated?

Just figured out my problem and maybe it'll help someone out. I removed the slave 5870m and she started right up. Looks like the a10 bios killed my slave card. All is well now
