So I will be transferring a Samsung SSD that came with an M17xR2 to an R3 3D.

I've looked at the various guides about intsalling a new one, but since this drive already has the alien sense installed as well as other programs I want on the drive is it easier to just download/remove required drivers? Or should I wipe the whole thing and reinstall everything?

It's not a big deal either way, just wondering what would be easier?

Thanks in advance for the replies and help.

I guess the better question is will I run into problems if I just attempt to get the proper drivers without doing a full wipe?

You would probably be best doing a full wipe.
