Does anyone know the part number for the control panel above the keyboard on the M17xR2? This is the long plastic panel that contains the power button and the media buttons.

Nobody in INDIA seems to know what this is and i've been sent incorrect parts.

I don't know how many times i've been transferred, I can't understand anybody, and nobody seems to know anything about these machines. Alienware/Dell support is absolutely horrid.

    Thanks.

They're just people too. They have lots of systems to work with, and Alienware is not the most common denominators PC.

I might be more forgiving if this weren't a nearly $2500 dollar computer thats had to be torn apart to fix other serious issues. Dell markets these as such "bad a**" gaming machines but the support and quality control is quite anemic.
