    Does this allow us access to the Waves MaxxAudio? My system came with the second driver but I removed it and installed the original driver so I could use Waves.

    Works for me. Access to the panel appears to be restored. It still seems like the "Communications Headphones" device doesn't work properly still. It continues to play system sounds through it, unless of course, that's what its supposed to do. I was under the impression that it can be used as a 2nd line for things like Skype and Ventrilo voices only without playing system sounds.
