Was looking around for an additional power supply so i dont have to keep dragging mine from room to room. On the Dell site is says $119. Is that the best price? I looked around on the web and saw some knockoff ones for a little cheaper ($89), but I dont want to skimp on a few bucks and run the risk of some cheap PS damaging my machine. Any thoughts or advice? Worth it to wait for an accessories coupon or something? Or just suck it up for $119?

Yeah but make sure you get a real Delta PA-9E or your M27x won't charge your battery properly.

don't cheap out on the adapter part, some of the cheaper ones do fail to charge your battery.

I bought a spare genuine Dell adapter for use in my PSU mod on ebay for $60. It was used but in perfect condition. I think a few other people have found them for ~$50 on ebay in similar condition.

Cool, thanks for all the responses. I think I'll try giving Dell a call tonite and see if they will sell with a discount or gift me one. Otherwise I'll keep an eye on eBay!

They don't work well for the R3 (I have one Flextronics and a Delta). The Flextronics do work well for R2's and other Dell units. I might call up AW Support to give me an exchange of the Flextronics for a Delta.
