    Hi :) .

    Before all , i'm sorry for my mistakes , i'm french ;) .

    I want to buy a new gaming laptop and the new Alienware m17xr3 seem to be just amazing for gaming ! .

    But can this laptop (i7 2630qm , 6970m .. ) run games like Crysis 2 or battlefield bad company 2 with everything set to max ? .

    In 1600*900 or 1366*768 ? I love to play with 60 fps but with a laptop i highly doubt it's possible . Can i hope a decent framerate ? .

    Can somebody give me somes results ?

    First, your English is very good. Second, I have an M17x and I play Crysis at max with 28-30 FPS. Battlefield plays even higher and both are at native (1920x1080) resolution. I would post some screenies for you to prove it, but I am at work right now. Look here! See if that link helps any.

    It can play most games at max apart from Metro 2033, The Witcher 2 and Crysis 1(cause it was not a well optimized game). Crysis 2 ran fine on max at 1080p but after the recent dx11 patch i dont think it will be playable on max, but max on dx9 will be fine.

    The witcher 2 is playable with lower resolution ? (1600*900 max or 1366*768)

    I never play this game , but i think with lower setting it's playable ? (medium/high or something like this) .

    Forget about 6970m. Give if a few days so the option is available in Europe and get 580m.

    This laptop in europe is 1700 € , something like 2500 $ .

    I can't spent more .. it's my maximum budget for this laptop :(

    No. Contact HIDevolution. Lot of people from Europe order their system from these guys including myself. Europe price back then was 2600 euro, I payed a total of 1550 euro. I think they can also order Azerrty keyboards. Just ask them, they open in about 2 hours, contact them through chat is the easiest way.

    Finaly , i just bought a M18X with 460m in sli .

    more powerfull than a 6970 , and this m18x is absolutely beautiful . ;)
