    M17xR3 6990M - Screen brightness/clarity question

    Is there an option to set the monitor contrast/brightness higher other than the catalyst control center? cause it seems a bit faded. and the options at the power settings are at the higher available. colors seem a bit faded as well as the overall contrast of the screen is really low, i mean i have another older laptop HP pavilion and the screen there is extremely clear and bright

    You could try the built in windows color correction which definitely helps a lot.
    Go to Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Display and on the left side there will be an option called "Calibrate color". Hope this help!
