    M17xR3 6990m Driver Hardware Error Help

    Hey all,

    The past week or so I have been having a intermittent issue where when I boot up I get a driver error "Cannot find appropriate AMD device". In device manager I get the famous yellow ! of doom. Now if I reboot, it works fine.

    Here is my dilemma, 32 days left on Complete Care warranty, so do I extend or try and get this card replaced and move on to a newer laptop? This is my 3rd 6990m is 3 years so Im concerned I have another bad card. Im afraid to call support and get the.. there is nothing wrong with the laptop now routine since this is a intermittent issue.

    Any suggestions?
