I just have gotten my upgrade for my M17xR1 (that had alot of problems) to my free upgrade of a M17xR3 today. I felt like trying the HDMI IN slot of my new computer just to see how it works, and I plugged in the HDMI cord, and it was working fine for scrolling around, but when I tried playing a game on my PS3, the speakers made a HORRIBLE crackling noise.

Has anyone else tried the HDMI in with a ps3 and got the same result?

Mine has worked fine audio wise but sometimes i get some weird shadow of the screen off set by like half the screen. For example everything on the left i would see it again in shadow form on the right. Disconnecting my hdmi plug and replugging it fixes it.

It's either the cable or the port. May also be a coincidence though :(
