So the girlfriend's sister's dog (say that 10 times fast) chewed on the actual attached cord of my AC adapter.

Now I know mine is the J211H adapter, however I see there is a J938H that can work with my laptop as well.

Is there a benefit of going with one over the other?

I found a J938H that is quite a bit cheaper than the J211H, any specific reason I wouldnt get the 938?

I think one is 180watt IIRC, the R3 was 230watt.

    Both are rated @ 240W and both work with the M17x and M17x R2, i can't be 100% sure about the M17x R3 as i haven't tested them personally.
