good luck. If it doesn't work, just uninstall the new driver and then install the old one.

you can't have 3d vision installed if you want the HDMI in to work? that's how I understand it. :(

just go to custom (advanced settings), then just uncheck everything except the actual nvidia driver like in this pic. You probably do a clean install as well so select that box as well ;)

Just the thread i was looking for..

Took out a samsung data 3 256 SSD from an M14x. Put it in my R3 as a sole drive and wiped it and continued to do a clean install. Right now I get all the drivers down no problem except command centre as Ive real to do that after sp1. I started windows update and it starts to download and during a reboot it has started to Bsod on me.

DO I have to set the setting in bios (Raid / Sata) or something? there's a thread here by Kunekaden but I don't know if I need to change those settings if Im running 1 drive and not 2.

I restarted in normal mode a few times and it got past the bsod now with no changes whatsoever. Not sure how I actually was about to wipe the drive and reinstall again but during shut down it stated to do the /92 updates.

I'm not sure what to do.. Should I leave the GPU driver out until after I get sp1 installed?

Another install this time I left the nvidia driver and started doing windows updates.. So far so good !! Just got to service pack 1 without much issue ( only error in update was 1 update that couldn't install but I did cancel the popup for Internet explorer so I'm wondering if that's tied to windows update)

Is there a reccomended driver for 3d gtx460?? I'm not sure which one to use (dells 460, dells 3d driver or from nvidias site)
