I was wondering is the 1920x1080 60hz LED screen 95% NTSC color gamut on the m17xR3?

I just looked read your link again.....not sure from what the below color gamut graph means.....but it looks like 95% color gamut. Could anyone confirm this? I really need to know!

The bottom line is that you are not going to find many laptop displays with 95% Adobe gamut coverage (basically only the RGBLED and/or IPS panels). You won't even get that in a lot of external monitors, with the obvious exception of the higher-end ($600-$2000+) pro imaging-oriented LCD's. -
I was wondering what's that graph at the very bottom mean? (the one that looks like some odd daimond shape) -

I inserted that link because it shows that even though it's not a 95% CG display it can hold it's own when compared to some of the better displays available... like the XPS 15 which is a 95% CG display. The reviewers loved the display and even called the color gamut "stellar".
*edit - and if I have the right part number (LP173WF2) then it's a 72% CG display. -

I believe the 3D model of the R3 is 73%. The non-3D model is around 50%.
There is a FAQ on Dell's site somewhere with Gamut listed for all their Alienware models. -
If you want a better screen, find a B173HW01 V.4 and upgrade.
90% NTSC Gamut, 600:1 Contrast, 70/70/60/60 viewing angles, etc. -
but isn´t it quite tricky to replace the lcd on an m17xr3?

Here is the link I was looking for.
Dell - Help Me Choose: Display
Both R3 screens are listed at 72%, which is awfully close to what the review earlier in this thread found. The 120 Hz screen is brighter. -

I was looking at the comparison...aren't all the AW screens glossy? why is there non-glare screen...which they say are matte?
