Edit: Problem solved. I'd delete this post, but I cant.

Edit: I spoke too soon. Ok, I got build 15063 installed and now my power issues are 100x worse than ever. In 105xx, same PSU, I had zero throttling. Now with 15063 I can't even get the processor over 1.17Ghz (3610QM) It was happily running at 2.29 with no throttling on the 980M. Now GPUZ reports Pwrcap when I even start up a video. This is just unusable. I know its all software because things worked fine in 105xx but I find more and more that Im needing the 15000+ updates because I do play a lot in the windows store.

Am I gonna have to shell out another $180 for a new power brick? Are those $40 knockoffs on ebay total garbage?

Not sure about knockoffs but I solved a lot of throttling issues on my m17x r4 when I switched to a genuine 330w PSU. Just my experience.
