Hey there) I have an M17xR4 with A11 bios unlocked, installed CLEVO GTX780M recently. Am trying to OC the CPU of this little beast but can't call it stable. What i did is set OC enable in the bios with max multis, Flex 0, priplane 800.

When i ran benchmarks this is my highest scores

If anyone got higher numbers than this with non-XM CPU could you please share the info? I can manage x40 on all cores for 30 sec, than it goes down to stock or even lower(

Your help is much appreciated! Tnx

Sounds like your hitting the thermal barrier though and the processor is throttling to cool down. Try re-pasting and seeing if that helps?

It does seem like throttling. Let us know how the re-pasting goes.

not really, IC Diamond applied + CM notepal U3. It drops the clocks even if its 75C after a short period of time. May be this laptop is juts a bad OCer with non-xm CPU, dunno... Is there anyone who can run 1024 Throttlestop 5 TS bench or Intel 5 min XTU bench with no clock drops? tnx

Well it could be your turboboost. Unlike sandybridge you can't mod ivy to run at maxxed turbo speed. :(

Nope, I could run my M18x with 3820QM @4ghz and ~80c pretty much all day without any throttling. There must be some other issue, like incorrect power settings. I'd play with pri plane and flex some more. Great machine Red Line! Congrats! :)
