Hello to any and all who read and/or help with this issue.
Firstly, before any Alienware moderators state the obvious - Yes I know Win 10 is not validated for M17xR4
I have a M17xR4 with Windows 10 Pro Build 1607 installed, everything is running great except for the eject and Command Centre buttons on the media board (Above the keyboard on the right hand side)
All other media buttons work except for these two, funny thing is the eject button works during boot up but will not work in windows, so it's definitely windows 10 screwing it up somehow.
I've clean installed 10, upgraded from 7 to 10, 8.1 to 10 and still nothing on those two buttons
I've tried all versions of OSD and Command Centre from M17xR3 to AW17 R1 with no luck, I've even reverted the system BIOS back to A11 because I read some people had fixed their issue with this BIOS revision.
Also tried both UEFI and Legacy - No joy.
As far as I can tell there were only two motherboard revisions for this model A00 and A01 - Does anyone know of any others? Also does anyone know how many vendors made these boards, if there's more than one (like usual) then it may be some work and some don't.
    Cheers and thanks.

    Try this OSD version:
    http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER01771210M/1/Application_N9PMP_WN_0.32.0.8C_A00.EXE

    Then this chipset version:
    http://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER01771173M/1/Chipset_Driver_M93C4_WN_9.4.0.1026_A00.EXE

You can also install BIOS A13 from the link below:
    http://www.dell.com/support/home/uk/en/ukbsdt1/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=8RW9V

Try BIOS first, then chipset and then OSD ;) Let us know if this resolved your problem.

Hopefully the issue will be resolved, you can then update your chipset to the latest version:
    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloads/eula/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility-?httpDown=https://downloadmirror.intel.com/20775/eng/SetupChipset.exe

You will need .Net framework 3.5 installed before installing the Command centre:

    Hi Mariussx.
    Thanks for your help.
Downloaded and installed A13 and command centre button now works.
Dam Dell AU website, I've never seen A13 BIOS, it is never listed on the AU website no matter what OS you select, the "latest" release according to Dell AU is A12
Eject button still does not work.
I already have .Net 3.5 and the above version of OSD install, I have also installed the two suggested chipset drivers and still no luck with the eject button.
I know there was one motherboard revision in the M18xR2 where the eject button would not work with either win 8.1 or 10 - I can't remember now, maybe this mobo falls into that same lot.
Do you know of anyone else having this issue and not being able to fix it?
Cheers for your help, I'm halfway there now

    Hiya.
Downloaded and install both the above programs, still had no luck...
But - After I'd install IRST I scrolled through the program and come across the manufacturers name of the DVD player, I thought I'd take a punt and check for any firmware updates, sure enough I found a suitable one from 2014, it upgraded the firmware from HD10 to HD12.
    File name: DL-8A4SH_HD12_utility_ZPE
I rebooted after installation and guess what - Eject button now works :) Happy daz as I've been at it for at least 15-20 hrs in total.
So thanks a million, you inadvertently lead me to the solution, now I can shove the (Windows 10 is not validated for this system) back in the Alienware Forum moderators face, I get so sick of them regurgitating that statement
