Hi, received a new M17xR4 system few days back and found out that the SATA connector to the 2nd HDD was not included, so i couldn't connect my HDD and currently using just one. Is there anyone who can help me find the part number for this little thing or have the one that you don't need? Had a chat with Dell but they don't seem to have it in stock and here in Ukraine you can't even order the part.
I would appreciate any help, tnx
Looks similar to this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Alienware-M11xR2-SATA-Hard-Drive-Adapter-Interposer-Connector-DPN-CP76J-/130808259026?pt=US_Drive_Cables_dapters&hash=item1e74c7a1d2
A few shots of the bridge i'm looking for, tnx

Its within the 2nd bay, there is a black rubber piece in place of where it should be, look inside that rubber thing and it should be there. Otherwise call them up, you should have gotten one included with it.

DDDenniZZZ, yeah, that's the thing... the rubber piece was just empty! Called Dell Ukraine today (they are usually pretty helpful) but it's impossible even to order the part, they just don't ship it((
Also, a few more shot included in the 1st post -
I think any one will be ok, there are a few on ebay for $5. Just a normal one thats 90 degrees would be fine I think, I don't think its specific to the m17x.

tnx, i hope so too. they're just a little different from what i have! we'll see if anyone else confirms your statement and i'll give the damn ebay connector a shot)
