Tried to find but wasn't able to find it. What are the differences between M17xR3 and M17xR4 LCD covers and Bottom chasis? Can we swap them around ?

Also if anyone has part numbers for R4, I was only able to find R3 part numbers.

    Thanks

The chassis looks the same but they may have slight differences, we haven't tried to swap them around. Better to get the one you have and change it (if it's broken).

What parts do you need from the R4?

Thats what i was thinking, its looks same but might have internal differences. I need LCD cover and bottom chassis, but cannot find part numbers anywhere.

I just replaced my Bezel around the LCD and the part they shipped me was labeled R3 so that one at least is cross compatible between the two.

most parts of the chassis should be interchangable as far as I know. They really didn't change anything between those two revisions that i know of besides the mobo, processor options, and graphics card options, .

I believe this is correct. I had a dismantled and damaged R4 that was frankenstein'd back to life using a lot of R3 parts.

I'd get picture confirmation just in case. I have an m18x r2 and although both r1 and r2 bottoms look identical, when you look closely on the inside there are a few small differences that make it incompatible without some modification

Ordered the m17xr3 LCD cover for m17xr4. Hopefully it works out.
