    M17xr3 BSOD but no logs

    Title says it. my m17xr3 has BSOD'd twice this week and yet it doesn't save a log. Need help on how to setup to save logs and want to know if its the hardware malfunctioning.

    Configure Windows To Save Minidump Files During System Crash (BSOD)

    this should help you i hope i understand what you want to do the same steps apply to windows 7 btw

    Just open the start menu, right-click "Computer" and select properties.

    Choose "Advanced System Settings" under the left pane, there you'll find the same options that appear with a picture in the guide provided by martin541.

    Already did that but still i can't find anything in the minidump folder but i saw this(file attached). I don't know if it is but it says it is a crash dump file. I can't also seem to open it and would like to know how or if anyone could open this and help me find out the error behind my m17xr3 BSOD

    no worries use this http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/bluescreenview_setup.exe very useful tool sorry i couldn't reply sooner been in college all day
