Long short story..i had my GTX580M which died 2 months ago and recently i just installed a used MSI GTX780M with GC EXTREME paste and local thermal pads...before it used to run fine i played dota at ultra graphics alot and it never gave me any problem and temps were stable under 75-78 ..now what is going on here is that everytime the gpu reaches 77 degrees or sometimes 78, it freezes the whole laptop with some solid color..mostly GRAY or sometimes BLUE or GREEN....depends on the games actually...GREEN and GREY on DOTA 2 and BLUE on GTA V...the laptop runs fine even at 75 degrees...things i have done:
1.Respaste GPU and even clean the whole GPU pcb.
    2.Repaste CPU.
I have no idea what to do with it now and i am unable to find the cause of it...maybe i need better thermal pads? anyhelp will be really appreciated ...THANKS :)

you can try going to stock clocks if you have OCed it, if it's at stock you can undervolt it, that will bring temps down a notch.
