It reports that the Intel HD3000 (our IGP) sometimes doesn't work with MapsGL. Switch to the 560M. Seems to work fine with my 580M.

i've tried going into the nvidea control panel an setting firefox to use the 560m, with no joy, i've tried pressing the fn and F7 button, but i always just get "your graphics solution is automatically configured for optimal performance"

is there something different i should be doing

Give another browser a try; Chrome, maybe.

I'm using Chrome, but I also have the IGP disabled, so all apps have to use the 580M all of the time.

seems to enable in chrome, so it must be firefox or some firefox extension i've installed, cheers

still not sure why the FN F7 button doesn't seem to be working as expected
