I'm looking for anyone with an M17x which they ordered with the Panasonic/Mata Blu-Ray Writer UJ-235 and have updated the firmware to v1.11.
I essentially need a dump of the 1.11 firmware off this drive so I can put the correct Dell firmware on the OEM drive I have recently obtained for my M17x.
The correct software for dumping the firmware safely is located on the RPC1 webpage here
You simply run the bat file in the package and type in the drive letter of the drive to dump the firmware.
If anyone can help me with this I would be most appreciative!

Just give me 2 minutes i'll do it
For some reason it won't work:
My drive letter is G and tried " G" , " G:" and " G:\"
But you can grab it here:

why dont you directly flash the firmware using the file Dell has provided? Or am i not understanding your intention. Pls explain because I too have the same drive sent by Dell which i have transplanted into an Alienware m17 r3. As per agreement.

I need it because I got the OEM drive which will not flash using the Dell flasher.
Otherwise I would've used the dell flasher! -
