Hey guys...I have an R2 and was wondering if there was a way to sync the media bar to programs such as iTunes. I want to be able to change the song while i'm in a different program...is this possible? Also I have the alienware keyboard and i seem to have the same problem with that also. Do these functions only work when the iTunes is open and selected? Thanks a lot.

Just imagine using iTunes and Media player at the same time and you pressing the "Next" button what will the application choose(iTunes/media player or none/both :p) that would be a mess.
It's normal for it to work when the application(in this case iTunes) is selected nothing to fix here.
Probably there's a 3rd party app that would let you do that.

It works in the R3....i just tried it.

Edit......ahhh i see what they did....it only works on the program in focus...meaning if i hit pause with a window on top of itunes, nothing......if itunes is "active" it controls it. if i have itunes and medai player open, it will control which ever is in focus (on top).
