    Memory speed?

    Probably obvious but i just cant see it.

    When i do 3D mark 11 and 3Dmark vantage they both say "4 096 MB Corsair DDR3 @ 800 MHz"

    Why the low speed?

    Because DDR stand for Double Data rate ie Double 800Mhz = 1600Mhz

    I think, anyway, i ggogled it once when i saw 800MHz on Alien Autopsy.

    Yes that's how it works, it's the same for all ram at the moment except GDDR5 which is quad data rate so 900mhz is quoted as 3600mhz.
