    Hey Zewi,

    The Mercury Extreme is similar to the Vertex 3 SSD. It uses the same SandForce controller. I actually haven't heard much about OWC reliability. I believe I saw a benchmark and that the Vertex 3, especially the Max IOPS versions were faster.

    From my personal experience, if I had to do it all over again, the Intel 510 would probably be my choice because of its vastly superior reliability and the much easier installation process. I've also heard good reviews about the Crucial m400.
