    Microphone array not picking up sound - help plz

    Hello,

    I have an alienware m17x r4, the sound stopped working a few days ago so i reinstalled the drivers and everything was fine even made a few Skype calls. Turned on the laptop this morning and the microphone array is not picking up any sound. It is checked as default and the green bar is not moving at all, I reinstalled the drivers again but no change and even reinstalled the integrated webcam program but no luck.

    I've searched online everywhere but there are no solutions could someone help me please?

    Also i have pressed fn+f9 to no avail.
