    I recently bought the alienware m17x r2

    The microphone worked when i first got it ( worked in ventrilo / games)

    and someone said my mic sounds like im far away so i tried playing with the settings and switched things around now it doesnt work.. i tried changing every setting it still doesnt work

    how can i fix it? or make each setting like it was.

    hi....
    when using the cyberlink webcam software and record the video...do you notice you have some weird noise beside your talking noise ? i mean some sound like a graphic or processor fan's noise?
    i noticed it in my laptop...
    do you guys notice it tooo ?

    does it really a fan noise that also recorded ?
    or its driver problem ? or the microphone problem ?

    I just read some articles about it...
    I forgot the location...
    but you can try to find it by search in this forum and write "microphone m17x r2"
    the thread has problem like then problem in this thread...
