Yes, the title reads Minecraft hahaha. So if you are familiar with minecraft and texture packs and such, I have this question. How come my AW can play COD Black Ops II, Crysis, Battlefield, etc, but my rigs chokes when it tries to play Minecraft with the Sphax PureBDCraft 512x MC14 HD texture pack? Really? I thought that was a bit funny, all I can think of is that it has something to do with Java and not necessarily the graphics card. Interesting.

Make sure your java is 64 bit. A lot of times if you download it through chrome, it defaults to 32 bit. try downloading it through IE 10.

Are you able to check the temperatures on the GPU while the game is running?
It is a possibility that the Discrete Video Card is not being put into work with Minecraft.
Also, which Radeon Driver are you running with?
