I installed yesterday in my laptop a M4 Crucial 128 SSD, 2x4GB Kingston HyperX RAM modules and 1 Momentus XT 500GB drive as secondary hard-drive.
The momentus is installed in port 0.
I went to work and when I came home I saw windows has recovered from a BSOD which was error 7a. Looked that up and from what I could find on google + the dump file it said it was related to the page file/virtual memory which I had moved from the SSD to the momentus to save space on the ssd.
I said ok I will move that back and see what happens from there. I was playing COD and at the finish of a level blue screen again but when windows recovered no dump file. I did manage to see that it was error 1a which is memory_management problem. At first I thought directly to the RAM and I was just about to reboot into a bootable cd to check the ram even though I dreaded the fact that I have to do it for 4-5 hours.
Before I rebooted my system froze, partially and I realized the windows and whatever I was using that was on the momentus froze, rest was ok. I rebooted and momentus was gone from computer as a partition and from disk management as a drive to format/etc.
So I rebooted again, checked bios and it was turning up there so I booted into windows and momentus was back magically.
I put in an utility bood cd and started scanning the momentus with hd tune 2.55 which is still going on right now. The thing is that it has scanned only about 40 Gb so far and it is filled of damaged blocks, from 40GB hd tune reports 2.1% damaged sectors, by the time it will be finished it will probably be 10%.
The hard drive is obviously going back tomorrow. My questions are:
Because I set the pagefile to the momentus, is that a viable explanation to why I got those errors which were related to virtual memory/page file/memory management? I would say yes but I want a second opinion.
Should I ask the seller for a new momentus or should I go with something else like Scorpio Black 750GB?
Thank you.

Tertiary to any possible hardware issues, you might try setting Windows to use no page file. You have plenty of RAM so it shouldn't need to swap.
If you must have a page file, it should definitely be on the SSD for performance reasons. -
As soon as the boot cd finishes I will try setting no page file and then if I do decide to have one I will leave it on the ssd.
I am thinking I might actually stop the hd tune test right now as it has about 67Gb and 3.8% bad blocks so its not point in testing it any further, only for curiosity to see if it will reach 15-20%)
