Forgive the countless posts regarding errors with my system firstly...

This is a new one on me since having my system.

Just this very minute, i was quite happilky chugging along and got up for a minute, came back and this was happening: (system had been on all day apx 9 hrs)

Desktop tray icons were trying to load....(i have em set to all appear) so i waited....they kept getting so far so id have about 8 and then the whole screen would flicker like mad, the icons in the task tray reset themselves to none and try loading themselves up again....they get to about 5 and then crash back down to none...screen flickers like mad again....same process over and over again...

I go to restart the system (whichh it looks like it will do) and then it comes up with a BSOD (couldnt quite catch the info) but it did say an unexpected error blah blah windows down to protect blah blah....

Upon restarting....got blank screen with "operating system not found" and nothing i could do except hard shutdown.

She started again ok but this is yet another error....

    Anyone any ideas?

First thing I would look at is the hard drive. Since you're running RAID 0 if one is starting to flake out it can break the entire partition. I would fist backup anything you need since the system is up again, then I would look at the System Logs in the Event Viewer. Not only can you find the BSOD code in there but you can see if Windows has started logging problems with the disks.

Nothing to backup as its a new system. How do i use the event viewer to find out what went wrong and how do i find the BSOD code?....
