Hi guys. :hi2:
i juz bought a new alienware m17xr4 but it came with windows 8.
So i decided to downgrade it to windows 7.and voila i done it.
But now i have few problems.
1) I got problem when trying to install Wireless 380 Bluetooth4.0 Module. It keeps saying "active bluetooth using wireless switch".
I tried pressing the wireless button but nothing changed.
2) What is the perfect setting for Sound Blaster recon 3Di? maybe if i can come up with the right settings, i can have an awesome audio.
3) I have a problem with my msata ssd. It suddenly disappeared when i install intel rapid storage technology. It says that it is incompatible thus disappeared.
4) Is there any unlocked bios for this m17xr4? rite now i'm with A12 bios that i had downloaded and installed from Dell website.
5) How to disable integrated intel HD graphics? i tried searching it in the bios but nothing.

1. The button can be a little slow to respond, try pressing it and waiting a bit. Make sure you are installing the right drivers for your module.
2. Pass.
3. You mean you can't access it at all now?
4) Alienware - Downloads - Tech|Inferno Forums Tech inferno is a great place to check out this stuff, donate or do 5 posts to download.
5) Usually a key combo like FN + F7 -
1) I tried but still didn't work. I think mine is the right driver "Dell wireless 380 Bluetooth 4.0 module".
3) Yes, i can't access the msata ssd at all since it disappeared completely from my computer.
4) Based on the link u gave me, that one only got A05 bios... do i have install A05 bios instead A12 bios that i have rite now?
5) Fn + F7 juz switch between those two. what i meant is i want the intel graphic completely disabled. how can i do it? -

I've had their mSATA SSD's die on me within the first two days of using the laptop from the factory. Sometimes the SSD's poop out and need to be replaced. If it's not showing up in the BIOS, try re-seating it. If that does not work, it's likely dead. They should be able to "NBD" a new mSATA SSD to you, if you're under warranty.
Luis has helped me a lot. If you're in the USA and under warranty, he'll be able to handle pretty much everything.
