This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Mx17 R3 and Win2008 R2

    Has anyone been able to install Win2008 R2 with Hyper-V on the new Alienware Mx17r3? I can get 2008 installed, and I can hack the drivers, but once I do. the machine slows down to a crawl as I think there is some conflict between the video drivers and Hyper-V. as its only when I attempt to install the video drivers that the machine completely slows down.

    Any ideas?
