Bought my sig rig the Mx17 from a guy on craigslist for a un beatable price.

    System: Alienface Mx17
    CPU p8600 duo
    Intel Core2 Duo P8600 2.4ghz Memory
    DDr3 6gb 5.75 usable Graphics Card
    Gtx 260m & 9400 Sli Hybrid mode
    Hard Drive
    500gb 7200rpm drive Sound Card
    Windows 7 64bit freshly installed

System runs great but in sli hybrid or not playing blackops & or other games with decent performance is failing. I do get like 25-35 frames steady sometimes.. but then other times for no reason drop to 10-15 for no reason. Overall playing online is just wayy to jumpy..

    Better cpu? GPu? Oc?
What possible steps can help me get better performance.

Its not just black ops.. remember.. Not getting very good performance.. Or is this normal with mx17?

    Better cpu? GPu? Oc?

Mmmm, a single 260 and a P8600. You need to post a benchmark with 3DMark Vantage on default settings. You might also want to use HWInfo32 and post a screenshot of your GPU and CPU temperatures after a moderate gaming session. The guy you bought the computer from may have never cleaned it, and it may be suffering from some thermally-induced throttling. We need more numbers to troubleshoot your problem.
