I bought the M17xR1 from a forum member and I have wowed everyone who's seen it. I also bought the M11xR1 at the same time. I am very pleased with both of them.

It isn't a motherboard issue? I thought it just had a really bad motherboard.

I am very happy with my M17xR1. I haven't encountered any problems except for the blu-ray drive which Dell promptly replaced. The R1 that I purchased is in pristine condition. It was shipped in November 2009 so it is fairly new.

Well that is what I am trying to decide. There is no warrenty with the silver one it is 2 months old and it was a warrenty replacment. I will be selling one but if I sell the silver one it will be minus the 820 and Windows ultimate. It will have the 720 and windows premium with x2 250 hdds in it..

If you have 4870's and use throttlestop, there are really no issues to speak of.

Mine has no problems at all.
