    My 580m is acting strange: M17x r3

    Started last week and so far have had two driver crashes (black screen for a sec and then message that drivers have recovered). Also random freezing for a sec (without any errors and 2-3 times a day). All of this while on the desktop or using firefox. No ingame crashes yet but the drivers crashes and freezing screens are becoming more and more frequent.

    Know about the 320.18 horror drivers. Did not update to it and did not have any of the symptoms as am having now. Problems are with the 320.49 driver.

    Try 314.22, the .49 has not fixed many of the issues apart from frying cards, and that is still in question in my mind after following the NV thread. A good driver is still not even in beta :mad:

    Edit: You could hunt down 326.01, stated as win8 R2 but win7 users are saying it works for them...

    320.49 have plenty of reported issues, the best thing to do is to go back to previous drivers.

    314.22 is the best available driver at the moment.
