I'd first like to say that this is an R1 and I've had it for 1 1/2 years. I just recently had problems, had an onsite tech (he replaced my LCD, Motherboard and video cards, twice) come twice and then was told to sent it into dell for repairs, it came back and im still having problems (they fixed my fan, and video cards). Whenever I'm playing a game, 1 of 3 things happens after 10-20 minutes (please note these are different problems than i had before i sent it into repairs), the screen freezes, I get a gray screen, which turns to a red flickering screen, or I get a blue screen that says something with my harddrive and from the blue screen i have to run a system repair. I called dell and left off with them that I have to reinstall my OS, Windows 7 again, but i don't think thats the problem, whats wrong? I personally though it was my video cards and went ahead to update the drivers but the problem still persists.

That sounds more like a video driver related problem.
What drivers are you using? Specs please and BIOS version? so we can help you out!

I suggest call up dell again, this time insist that they simply give you another computer, it seems they have attempted to fix it three times already, talk to a manager and reason with him/her, so long as the machine is under warranty dell is usually pretty reasonable.

Hello. It sounds as if it is your driver who create these problems! Try this driver 197.16_notebook and download the A06 BIOS
