    I was bored and so was the looks of my Alienware M17x R3 so I had to generate a little bit of excitement. As a novice painter myself, I was a little hestitant but I did it! Gunmetal grey metallic was what I've always wanted to be the color of my laptop. Finally got rid of the soft touch!!

    As you might not be able to tell, it is soft touch no more but it has a little bit of texture that gives it a little bit of a edgy look. But the main reason is that it is almost impossible to generate fingerprints and smudges unlike before. Looks amazing in person imo.

    Thanks! Yes, a light textured paint was used. It's just hard to tell because of the clear coat over it. I'm glad it came out the way it did and hides all fingerprints and smudges.
