I recently bought an M17 For college, and It is a great computer. I've noticed when I try and play specific games, like Battlefield 4 and Team Fortress 2, I get horrible rubber-banding. I had Verizion for a while, and When I got the laptop, I had to change the 802.11 settings to improve the connection.

Recently I changed to Xfinity through Comcast which caused the problem again. However, unlike before my speedtests are fine. 59 ping, 17.22 Download, and 4.20 Upload. I even run downloads with steam at great speeds. So I dont think it's the 802.11 settings anymore.

The real kicker to this, is that if I play the games on my desktop, The connection is perfect. And I never changed any settings on my desktop.

I'm at a loss for what to do.

Edit: Also, if it helps my Laptop has an 802.11a/c adapter, and my desktop has an 802.11b preamble set to long and short.

Comcast only gives the options for 802.11g/n and 802.11b/g/n.
