But but... you are a car enthusiast, you should like diesel engines o_O

If you think something is wrong with fans, clicking, tilting or rubbing, then you should call dell and have them replace your fans, if its not normal to you and you feel your laptop in healthy danger.

    Howdies cheifs,

How long have you had the machine for? Sounds like bad thermals or dust clog up in your fans and overall wear and tear. If its pretty new then its most likely defected fans. Give dell a buzz and get them replaced.

You could if you are game open up your notebook and have a look at the fans yourself. Also check out the thermal paste to see if it has gone bone dry and if so give it a clean and repaste new thermal paste on it. Also if your middle fan is going nuts every now and again at idle like that the temps must be spiking, so check the CPU middle fan and again if your game open up the notebook and repaste the thermal paste on your CPU.

Fixing up the thermal paste and changing the thermal pads will significantly help lower temps and fix the fan problems. Unless of course you do have defective fans to begin with. In that case just give dell a buzz chiefs and get them replaced.

    Cheers. :)
