    Hi,guys!! I gott my R3 this afternoon. It is far early than I expected. I think Dell has already started shipping these machines. I will do some becnmark first :D :D . I feell so happy.

    Yeah me too, my EDD was like early April. I ordered on march 3rd so it only took 7 days.

    Ordered on the 3rd and I'm the same
    I called and was told "ITS READY FOR DELIVERY!" By the rep. I asked why its been "ready for delivery" for 3 days and she said she didn't know.

    Website still lists it as in production, even. Might be worth calling 1-800-ALIENWARE and doing their automated ordering status lookup.. It seems more up to date (or at least gives ME a different answer than the site)

    I am guessing that the machines they had with faulty chipsets were repaired and sitting in wait. if you ordered a config they had repaired it was boxed up and mailed out. if its taking longer its probably a new machine.

    This stinks... Im gonna try X3nia's phone way to see where I'm at...
    Its so bad that I ordered my kingston hyper x ram on the 7th also, got eggsaver shipping (the free one on newegg) and got my ram yesterday (the 10th) :)) pretty crazy... SO now my hyper x ram is sitting along with my crucial c300 SSD... I CANT ***** WAIT!!!

    mine came in today as well.

    just finished swapping hard drives from my M11x. the M17x had the second tray so I just put the stock drive in the second bay and installed my SSD in the main. I was pleasantly surprised at the stock drive being a Scorpio black.

    also swapped ram to 8gb and put the 4gb back in the lil guy. that and a spare 250gb I had.

    now I'm doing simultaneous fresh installs.

    the power brick from the new machine is half as big as the M11x!

    just had to pull them both apart again to steal the wireless card. apparently the default dell 1501 doesnt do 5ghz. at least the third antenna was there.
