Hello! Yesterday i deleted Qualcomm Atheros Killer Network Manager thinking it was some program i wasnt using. I was wrong. After that i couldnt connect to my wifi. So i did a reset to before i deleted it. Now the internet works as usual.

(Note: Before the reset i could play almost every game in ultra.)

At this moment i want to play BF3. I start playing and now its laggy in ultra. Now i need to play in medium for it to be smooth. I try a few other games and it's the same; everythings more laggy.
I download the latest graphic card driver from Dell and its still the same.
I reset to before the first reset (mind) but it still doesnt work.

Does anyone know how to solve this? Im really frustrated since i cant play for example Arma 3 at all now.

    SPECS Alienware M17 R4:
    AMD Radeon HD 7970M
    i7 3610QM
    8 gb ram

    Thanks!

Ok strange... I had similar specs and played BF4 on ultra easily.. I think you first need to update the graphics driver.. Go and download this one and put it on top of your old one...

    AMD Catalyst™ 14.11.1 Beta Driver for Windows®

Next: what are your temps? Use HWinfo 64 and see if your temps are not too high (CPU< 90C and GPU<75C)

Also as for wireless drivers, uninstall all of them and install the ones from dell website.. See if this fixes it.

Im gonna try that driver, thanks.
    I'll download hwinfo and look!
I dont think it has to do with the network works fine after the reset.
    Thanks!

EDIT: Im not sure of how this works but heres how it looks: [IMG]
EDIT 2: I updated the graphic driver and the AMD Gaming Evolved Program says its up-to-date. Still the same lag

Okay, thanks. What driver could it be except for the graphic?

Could you report what temperatures you see first while gaming?

Im pretty sure it isnt the temp; it doesnt sound Much nor does it feel warm. I'm Also pretty sure a Update/restore doesnt screw with the temps.

Do you think a total restore (fctory reset)would solve My problem? Like using the windows cd and installing all the drivers?
