    1st question
Bought a new AC adapter and power cord with 13a fuse. Blue light is on the AC adapter but my system won't react, as if it's completely dead and the battery just won't charge up. Why?

    2nd question
I didn't have any hard disk connected, just ram only because my hard drive were broken. My next question is that it is possible to turn on power and enter into bios without connected to harddrive?

Best part! When I pressed power button, no action at all. So my
    3rd question:

Is it the power cord or AC adapter problems? Or is it because without hard drive connected? Or is it my motherboard just dead?

    Thks.

    Hi,
Getting into the bios will not need a working HD. It might generate an error but not dead.

A short on the MB usually results in the light on the power cord going out when you attempt to start. This requires the PSU to be unplugged to reset it.

Only a couple of things I can think to try.
Take the battery out, maybe a bad battery is pulling it down. It should still start without a battery.
Finally disconnect the CMOS battery and hold down the power button (no battery or PSU) to clear down the bios.

    Good luck.

    Hi

Had tried your ways and still not responding at all. My guess is that my motherboard must be burnt!

Should I take it to technican to fix it, doubt they can do anything beside asking me to replace a new motherboard. My question is it worth it? Will be costly?

Afraid I have no idea what a MB will cost but they are available.

I do have one other suggestion. Remove the GPU and CPU and memory and see if you get a beep code. If you do then replace each item one at a time to see if one of those components is pulling it down?
Hopefully it will not be too expensive, my R4 (680m) is still plugging away with the latest titles.
